I&#39;ll be doing the same with my scars from my hysterectomy. :)<br />I&#39;m so sorry you&#39;re going through all this. I hope it&#39;s the last surgery for a very very very long time. I have an 8-inch long vertical incision down the center of my chest from undergoing open heart surgery at the age of 25 to correct a congenital defect - I am now 27. Let me tell you, there are times when I absolutely hate my scar and times when I forget it&#39;s even there. I will tell you that I am not ashamed and actively working on wearing it with pride. It takes time. You know what makes having my scar worth it? Being alive and well. It&#39;ll be ok, trust me.
