I'm Still Here

I finally have a moment to blog & fill you guys in on what's been going on since we got back from vacation...oh like almost 3 weeks ago!!

Life has been INSANE to say the least!!

The DH & I had been talking for a while about putting our place on the market & buying something bigger. But as a lot of your know, just up & putting your place on the market, while dealing with infertility and/or adoption is not that easy! Because of this we had been putting it off, but after some talking & speaking with our agency, we thought this would be the best way to spend our wait...waiting to sell our place also!

So needless to say, after a week of cleaning out closets, touching up paint & just cleaning, our place goes on the market this afternoon! This is a very bittersweet moment for me, as I bought this place all on my own before I even met my DH. I am excited however...this is a big step for us & means we are moving on to the next phase of our lives together.

The only bigger bummer of all this?! Well, if we don't sell by the end of the summer, we have to pull it off the market, because the agency does not think we would have enough time to redo paperwork in a new home prior to our referral. So if that is the case, we will pull it & then put it back up as soon as LP is home. So only time will tell how this all works out!

I also owe you guys some vaca pictures. Don't worry, they will be coming. Now that the DH & I will not be working on the place so much, we can get them uploaded so I will show them to you all! We had an amazing time & I feel that I was quite adventurous on this vacation! GO ME!

We also got a call from our agency last week saying that Colombia had started meeting last week & was working on matches & referrals. Now, we have NO idea where we are on the list, but this is still a good sign & makes me teary just thinking about it.

Ok, I think that is all the big things right now to catch you guys up on! Sorry I have been a blog slacker!!!
